Art vs Claudia?

Hold up...

Is it true that Claudia wants to run against Art?

That would be interesting. 

Art would still be the the "Democratic" candidate while Claudia would be the "Republican" candidate.

I can only assume the El Paso money guys prefer to keep Lina, and would rather TRY to get rid of Art.  

I say "try" cos' I imagine the entire Delegation and local party establishment will get behind Art. 

This could have been all avoided by Claudia when she first ran.

Claudia tried to play both sides.

She thought she was being political savvy. 

But by doing so, she ended up being the only member in the Delegation whose district will likely be sent to the other side of Texas.  

Instead of Claudia vs Lina or Art, it could have been Art vs Lina. 

Oh, whale. 

Lina Ortega - Don't Retire!

Lina Ortega, whatever you do, do not retire. 

Do not let ageists get their way. 

The only thing standing in the way of Republican-lite Claudia Ordaz-Perez is you.  

El Paso is a Democrat town. 

There is no need to send two-face Democrats to Austin to do Republicans any more favors.

Art Fierro

I gotta give Art Fierro credit. 

For some reason - only God must know - when Republicans were drawing their proposed redistricting map, they left his district intact. 

Or maybe I know of a reason. 

Art probably does not rub anyone the wrong way...unlike other members of your Delegation.
