Adult Supervision

Apparently the Legislature is back in session, but no really gives a shit.  

With Covid nobody really cares about anything other than life getting back to normal.

But that being said, apparently, the Legislature must convene.

And word is two members of the El Paso Delegation cannot walk around anywhere without his or her unemployed spouse being attached to her or her side.

That cannot possibly bode well for either legislator. 

It gives off a couple of bad impressions.

One that said legislator cannot make a decision for his or herself. 

The other that said legislator's spouse is insecure.

If things do not change, do not be surprised if some of the Delegation is divorced.

 

Back to The Future

Ok. 

New Year, New Mayor...sorta. 

Oscar is back.

What means?

Unlike his predecessor, all Leeser cares about is whether or not trains run on time.  Not how the train works, or what's for dinner in the dining car. 

There is probably a lot of folks that work in City Hall feel relieved about the fact Leeser is back...not saying that is good or bad.  Just making an assumption, and yes, I know what is said about assumptions. 

Here is the thing though.

It wasn't the Dee was a bad mayor per se, he did do the right things, but went about it all the wrong way.  By that I mean he rubbed people the wrong way.  

Dee wanted to show everyone that he is the smartest man in the room.

Oscar? He does not care.

He knows will not be accepted nor that he needs to accepted by the money crowd in El Paso because he has a shit ton of it himself.

That kinda annoys the money crowd and other electeds in town because Oscar does not need this shit from anyone.
