Really, Kathryn?

I am trying to be a better person. 

So let me try to make a point without being mean about it.

So Ysleta ISD Trustee, Kathryn Lucero???, also known as Jaime Abeytia's better half, stood up for ethics, or something like that, when a fellow Trustee was awarded a contract.

But herein lies the problem, Kathryn is not being honest...with herself. 

When her better half got a contract to push the YISD bond, where was all this integrity?

Hey, I get it she has bills to pay and her better half needs a job.  

Take whatever you can get it. 

But calling out a fellow Trustee for doing the same shit you are doing....kinda bullshit.

Now, Kathryn will get technical and say, "It's different cos' that was campaign money."

A distinction without a difference. 

Both her and her fellow Trustee are making money, directly or indirectly, because of YISD.

She can tell herself all lies she wants, but if God were to ask, "How's is that exactly different?" she'll struggle to come up with words. 

Of course, God is understanding and would say, "I get it.  Y'all are broke, and y'all needed the money."

 

New Year Resolutions Start Now

A new year is the on horizon, but it won't magically get better cos' you want it to.   

You must put in the work now. 

If not, your 2021 will be just be just as shitty as your 2020.

Why, Dee?

Look, Dee is going to lose. 

But man, he is really doing anything and everything to lose badly

Oscar Leeser has a new negative campaign ad out where Dee does most of that talking...SURPRISE!...and is praising the Bracero program CLICK HERE!

First of all, what is Dee doing talking about the Bracero program?  I get that he might have been asked a question about immigration, but he should do what all Democrats do and just talk about "comprehensive immigration reform" without actually providing any details.  I guess Dee wanted to come-off smart, and well-intentioned, but instead he comes off looking out-of-touch and kinda racist.

"Paco can come cover and pick the crops, and then go back home when he is done."

Speaking of racisms...  

In a community that is overwhelming Hispanic, why hasn't his comment got any play with the local media?  I can think of an incident where Dee said something stupid that offended a group of folks that probably make up a fraction of the community and the local media had a field day with it.

I kinda feel bad for Dee to be honest. 

I really do think he knows not what he does.
