La Corona - The One Dee Cannot Catch

Dee Margo cannot catch a break. 

He rolls out a Wuhan Virus Re-opening Task Force only to get shat on by his friend, Governor Greg Abbott. 

If that was not bad enough, Dee has to play second fiddle to County Judge Ricardo Samaniego.  

Again, that could have been Vince Perez's job right there, but he passed.  

But neither here nor there.

Back to Dee.

It is not just that he is playing second fiddle to Samaniego.  

Samaniego has apparently iced out Dee. 

Samaniego was irrelevant until Wuhan happened.  

Now that has happened, Samaniego, who probably does not like Dee very much, well, found the opportunity to make things uncomfortable for Dee.

Y'all correct me if I am wrong, but Samaniego seems likes an Oscar Leeser kinda-guy, and while Oscar hides from the Wuhan due to his own health troubles, Samaniego can do Oscar a solid by icing out Dee. 

The problem is Dee thinks everything is okay and he is calling the shots. 

And that he is somehow well-liked. 

But he does not realize the only real reason he is Mayor is because Leeser bailed in the nick-of-time, AND the other guy running was even more obnoxious than Dee.  

Look, to be honest, I do not expect Dee to give a shit about what I think. 

But he just might give a shit about what the money guys think, and if the rumors are true, the money guys in town are gonna be backing two horses in the mayoral race - Dee and Carlos Gallinar. 

If that's the case, well, Dee is phucked. 

 

 

 

 

What is Going On With Dee?

I have thought that Dee might have a chance of making into the run-off thereby giving him a chance to win. 

But with all this shit going on, is it worth it?

It is shit pay for shit storms. 

So why bother?

The job is not worth it.

First, you raised taxes.

Then some nut job from Allen murders your constituents.

And then, you have a billionaire and art history professor whipping your ass over the bad idea that is the arena. 

AND NOW you have the Wuhan that has shutdown your city.  

And because of the shutdown less money is coming in, which means taxes will only go up.

So why?

Dee hobbles around in a walker for what?

For this?

If Dee was smart he would bow out. 

But he is not.

This was the guy that used other people's money to run against Shapleigh.

This would be a good time for Adair to intervene.
