Vero Doing Things She Shouldn't Be Doing

I know there is a lot going right now. 

But I do not need to cover that for you. 

Instead, let me offer you a break from all that. 

Okay. 

Your CongresswomXn is working really hard to send her energy my way.

A couple of nights ago, somehow, some way, your CongressowomXn made her way into my dreams.  

I know it had to be a dream because she was actually pleasant to be around, and not her annoying self.

And no, we did not go to Chico's Tacos. 

So, yeah.

Anyways, how's Dee holding up?

 

 

 

El Paso Cerrado

We are all tired of the Wuhan. 

Sorta. 

I have enjoyed the fact there is no such thing as rush hour.  

But on the other hand, my father and his woman, DID get the Wuhan.  Kinda expected since they do live in Long Island.

And it sucks. 

My father had to spend this all time quarantined with my sister's stepmom.  

But I am rambling now. 

Point being we all are sick and tired of being cooped up. 

Enter Mayor Dee Margo. 

Like every other damn elected official across the country, Margo has created a task force to guide El Paso's reopening. 

Who's heading it up? 

Joe Moody's boss...Rick Francis. 

Which no surprise.

But he probably should have just stopped right there and just named Francis the reopening Czar. 

If I am not mistaken, there is close to 50 people on this task force.  

I guess you gotta give your campaign donors something until the ride is over come November?

I guess they are gonna meet on Zoom or something.  

But can anything really get done when you have that many people involved? 

Or they maybe they will just copy and paste the same shit that everybody else is doing? 

And hell, if you are gonna get that many people involved, why not your own Chief of Staff? 

I would think Margo's Chief of Staff would be better suited for the job than say the local insurance salesman.   Just throwing it out there. Not saying any names.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Some People Aren't Handling The Wuhan Well

I am not quite sure what to make of this.

I thought Veronica Escobar wearing open-toed shoes showing her Flintstones feet was bad, but this beats. 

Without further comment, I give you your City Representative, Alexsandra Annello:

 

El Paso County Judge

You know CongressX Veronica Escobar is pissed she ain't the County Judge during the Chi-rona pandemic.  

She would be on television everyday looking like a leader. 

Instead, she is on the television bitching and moaning about this and that.

And you know else is pissed?

Vince Perez. 

He could have been County Judge.  

It was his seat to lose. 

But he passed it up. 

Instead of fighting for dear political life, he could have looked liked the young gun from West Texas calling the shots, and look like statewide material. 

But oh well.  

When deciding what to seat to run for or not, no one really thinks about how China can phuck the world over.

Speaking of getting some D, what is up with Dee Margo?

Maybe I heard it wrong, but you guys can clarify.  He is shutting down all parks except...golf courses?

As they say in Guatemala, ¿Qué putas?

On one hand, I get it. 

Remember, married men like playing golf because it allows them the entire day to avoid the wife.  

"No, it is for networking! Deals get done!"

Bullshit.  

Dee just does not want to be quarantined at-home with Adair.  

But contrast Dee with man-of-the-people, House Partier-in-Chief, Ricardo Samaniego. 

Samaniego is all about social distancing until he is not. 

But at least he ain't making a special carve out for his own personal hobbies. 

"Hey guys, I am sorry, but I like to party."

That probably goes over lot better in El Paso than talking about the back nine or sand traps.
