Veronica Escobar: Then (October) and Now (November)

One thing you will gather from County Judge Veronica Escobar's Twitter account is that she is does not have much in the way of an original thought or content. 

She spends most of the time retweeting.

Hell, for all shit I say about State Representative Mary Gonzalez, at least she is more original than Escobar. 

That might be because Gonzalez is more educated than Escobar.

But I am rambling now. 

Anyways this was your County Judge back in October:

Man, she sure seem sooooo scared about the idea of Trump not honoring election results that she had to retweet other people's opinions about.

But what a difference a month makes.

Now, you have Escobar re-tweeting this:

Alas though we do not know what Escobar really thinks. 

After all she is just parroting other people's lines here.

Is that kind of person you want to represent you in Congress?

Veronica Escobar: Triggered

Lately, County Judge Veronica Escobar has been on a retweeting tear on all things Steve Bannon, President Elect Trump's advisor.

Something about Bannon being a white nationalist or Neo-Nazi.

But if that is case, then why would a notable member of  The Tribe have a sit-down with this alleged white nationalist?

Oh, that is because he is not. 

For your sake El Paso, Veronica should really stop the tweeting and re-tweeting nonsense and stick to making sure the toilets at the County jail work because there will be a time when El Paso needs something from DC and her nonsense will have caught up to her.

Here you have an editor of a newspaper from a fourth-tier city telling a Hillary campaign volunteer from a third-tier city "Thanks for the retweet!"

Never mind the fact that HUD is only second to US Department of Transportation in destroying urban America, it is a place where former San Antonio mayors go to have their political careers die.

So why does Bob, an editor of a newspaper, feel compelled to "thank" a politician on Twitter?

Maybe Bob is looking for a new job.  After all he does have a new boss. 

Or he is tired of County Judge Veronica Escobar and is looking for a new and cooler Latino pal to gossip with.

Bob Moore and Stuff

Here and there:

Bob Moore - What is more racist? Some remarks made by a 70-year old billionaire, or Bob Moore telling Hispanics how to vote?  My maternal grandparents hail from Mexico, I did not cry over something that Trump said.  I thought Hispanics or Latinos or whatever you or we call ourselves, are supposed to be a group of badasses.  But here you, or we, are crying because someone said something mean.  Get over it.  Seriously.  It is embarrassing.  And here I thought Iranians had all sorts of emotional hang-ups. 

Posting - Posting will be light over the next two weeks.  Later this week I will be heading to South America because if Tim Kaine becomes president we all might need to find someplace new to live. 

Beto O'Rourke - I have long said O'Rourke would make for a great statewide candidate.  Granted, lately he has become somewhat of partisan, but it makes if he wants to win a primary.  So what does that mean for County Judge Veronica Escobar?  She will try to run for Congress until she realizes she cannot raise cash like Cesar Blanco.   Despite the fact that he is a douchebag, Blanco would make for a better congressman than Escobar.
