Members of the El Paso Delegation want you to support the EPISD bond package, which is to be expected.
Sorta.
Per the El Paso Times, one of the members of the El Paso Delegation, State Representative Cesar Blanco, said:
"...voters have to think of the bond issue as an investment and not as a tax increase because El Paso children deserve state-of-the-art classrooms just like Austin, Dallas and San Antonio."
Easy for that asshole to say.
Why you may ask?
Because Cesar pays as much in property taxes in El Paso County as David K, Jaime Abeytia and I combined.
Which is to say...ZERO.
Cesar wants you to vote on something that will cost you something, but will cost him nothing.
So next time San Antonio resident Cesar Blanco tells you how to vote on a local issue, tell him "Vete a la chingada."
