...for the next week or so.
Max is heading to El Paso this weekend.
In doing so, I will help fund your ballpark. You're welcome.
Dallas is receiving much needed rain, which will carry on through the weekend, but Max needs to be outside.
Although rain is what almost kept me from NOT going to El Paso. Weather is kinda iffy in the Guadalupe Mountains, but Saturday should be okay...kinda. And Sunday should be perfect. If Saturday is iffy, then there is the Franklin Mountains State Park.
And yes, Carlsbad is closer to the Guadalupe Mountains, but the hotel rates are a lot higher. On that note maybe El Paso can up come with a new slogan - "Cheaper than Carlsbad".
As you can tell, I ain't backpacking.
Day-hiking is more my thing because you can least have a nice Coors Light draft afterwards (backpackers can't drink at the end of the day). Sure, craft beer is more flavorful and carries more of a punch, but sometimes you don't need all that especially after a long day outside. Sometimes what you need is something simple...like Coors Light on draft. I know. Bud Light is un-official beer of la Raza.
Then towards the latter part of next week, I'll be heading to Worshington. Going with a buddy to hike the Old Rag circuit in Shenandoah National Park.

Yes, the Children's Hospital is in bankruptcy.
So what now?
The Children's Hospital must prove to a bankruptcy judge that it is viable.
In the interim, a trustee can be appointed, and the new boss at the Children's Hospital would be the trustee.
If the trustee determines that the Children's Hospital is not viable, then the trustee makes a motion to liquidate.
At any time during the process an organization can come in to make an offer for the Children's Hospital.
So any guesses on would want to buy or "buy" the Children's Hospital?
