Since Max has to travel really early in the morning tomorrow, I figure I'll post tomorrow's post today.
If that is not confusing enough, wait until you get a load of my endorsement for Lieutenant Governor.
Two words.
Dan. Patrick.
The Republican from Houston is a lot of things, but no need to put a laundry list here.
But one thing I do admire about the cheeky bastard is that he rubs a lot of people the wrong way.
At times that can be a good thing.
On his race to become State Senator, Patrick easily dispatched two long-standing Republican House incumbents. Most recently in his primary he dispatched the current Lt. Governor David "Moneybags" Dewhurst.
He is the one Republican other Republicans fear in this state.
He does not care for tradition.
He has has some crazy ideas. For example he wants to abolish the property tax and offset it with an increased sales tax. Sounds nutty, but why not have that discussion? Really it only sounds crazy until you have Linebarger Lawyer and Lawyer hunt you down for property taxes, or when someone files a lien against your property. I know some people say "Yea, but an increased sales tax will hurt the poors." It only hurt the poors when they buy stupid shit and they probably should not buy that stupid shit in the first place because they are poor.
Yea, he Dan Patrick bashes the border, but then the Obama administration has apprehended more folks crossing the border than the previous administration, but we all seem to be okay with that.
So there.
Vote for Patrick.
