El Paso's favorite pansexual, Mary Gonzalez, just does not know when to let the stupid stop or maybe she is not stupid. Worse, she knows what she is doing, which just makes her wrong.
El Paso Independent School District, a school district not located in Mary's legislative district, is a complete clusterfcuk. Anybody who can tell you that the sky is blue knows that. This district is being led by one El Paso's most incomptent elected officials: Isela Castanon-Williams.
Isela likes all the trappings of political power except for a rather important one: accountability. She has tried to wiggle her way out of this situation, but she is slowly coming to grips that things are going to change. But now that life is handing her lemons she figures why the hell not make some lemonade.
Enter Mary Gonzalez.
Mary Gonzalez just filed a bill - House Bill 903 - which is a blatant attempt to increase a school board's authority. This is contrary to everything that Jose Rodriguez, and Marisa Marquez, have been working on in the Legislature. In a nutshell, Mary's bill authorizes EPISD to designate someone as incomptent Isela to personally evaluate an internal auditor.
This is what happens when you elected someone who has not spent the last 10 years in El Paso: Mary Gonzalez. Did she not read about stories, while she was partying in Austin, about Luther Jones, Gilbert Sanchez, Larry Medina, "Coach" Cordova, Betti Flores, Chilo Madrid, among many others? Is she that clueless?
Or has she read those stories, and just does not give a shit, and does not mind carrying water for the incomptent and questionable? We have all this see play out before. An El Paso legislator (Norma Chavez) carrying water for these asshats tries to muck up everything that the rest of the El Paso agrees is important and necessary.
Like that El Paso legislator of before, Mary is apparently running her mouth about Marisa Marquez. Norma Chavez did that and look where that got her.
With all that said, I just cannot wait to see the video of Isela flying to Austin to testify "for" this bill. I just would love to see Isela, who oversaw the EPISD shitstorm, try to explain why she needs more power.
Isela is an evil munchkin that showed go away like the Wicked Witch of the West. Someone, please throw some water on her. Make it Holy water, and she will sizzle.
